Meet the Team

Carole Simpson

Founder, Director, Physiotherapist

Carole trained as a physiotherapist back in the early 80's and initially worked in the NHS. When the 4 children arrived work needed to be more flexible so Carole worked part time as a physiotherapist in a variety of settings -schools, NHS outpatients, Maidstone prison, and a hospice before finally settling into her own private practice. Helping people to move better has always been her passion and this has led her to train as a JEMS movement practitioner and then added training to be a postural stability instructor before developing the Keep Phytt business . Personally she likes to make things with clay, walk and cycle and when there's time read a good book!

Ian Simpson

Director, Business Manager, Instructor

Ian joined Carole to help grow the Keep Phytt business in 2022 after a career with large engineering companies. He is a physiotherapy assistant trained to deliver Keep Phytt classes and keeps himself fit by going to a Crossfit gym, running, cycling and walking (as well as doing the exercises in the Keep Phytt sessions he leads!). Ian & Carole have 4 grown up children and 2 grandchildren and love spending time with them all.

Mark Winter

Instructor

Mark is a qualified Level 2 gym instructor with certification for circuit exercises. He joined Keep Phytt in 2023 and delivers classes in the east of our area. Mark is a retired BT Project Manager and lives in Ashford with his partner. He has three grown up children and five grand children whom he complains he does not see frequently enough

Tina Drury

Admin Assistant

Tina joined Keep Phytt as admin assistant in May 24. She worked in the City for over 40 years until taking early retirement in 2017. Tina moved to Borough Green to be near her daughter but needed something extra to keep her occupied so decided to join us to keep her brain going. She enjoy keeping reasonably fit and spending time with her granddaughter.
