Meet the Team

Carole Simpson, BSc MCSP

Founder, Director, Physiotherapist

Carole Simpson

Carole trained as a physiotherapist back in the early 80's and initially worked in the NHS. When the 4 children arrived work needed to be more flexible so Carole worked part time as a physiotherapist in a variety of settings -schools, NHS outpatients, Maidstone prison, and a hospice before finally settling into her own private practice.

Helping people to move better has always been her passion and this has led her to train as a JEMS movement practitioner and then added training to be a postural stability instructor before developing the Keep Phytt business .

Personally she likes to make things with clay, walk and cycle and when there's time read a good book!

Ian Simpson

Director, Business Manager, Instructor

Carole Simpson

Ian joined Carole to help grow the Keep Phytt business in 2022 after a career with large engineering companies.

He is a physiotherapy assistant trained to deliver Keep Phytt classes and keeps himself fit by going to a Crossfit gym, running, cycling and walking (as well as doing the exercises in the Keep Phytt sessions he leads!).

Ian & Carole have 4 grown up children and 2 grandchildren and love spending time with them all.

Kate Beynon, BSc MCSP

Physiotherapist

Carole Simpson

Kate is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience, qualifying in 2003 from King’s College London. She spent many years in the NHS across Brighton and Hertfordshire before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in private practice.

She adores movement and is passionate about helping people stay strong, mobile, and able to enjoy life to the full. Kate especially enjoys leading and overseeing Keep Phytt classes - bringing knowledge, encouragement, and plenty of laughter along the way.

When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her walking in the Kent countryside with her family and their dog Bumble, or swimming in a lake when it’s warm enough!

Albert Mulvanny

Instructor

Carole Simpson

Albert is a qualified level 3 personal trainer and martial arts instructor.

He lives in New Barn, Kent.

Before qualifying as a trainer in 2013, he previously worked in financial services

Tina Drury

Admin Assistant

Carole Simpson

Tina joined Keep Phytt as admin assistant in May 24.

She worked in the City for over 40 years until taking early retirement in 2017.

Tina moved to Borough Green to be near her daughter but needed something extra to keep her occupied so decided to join us to keep her brain going.

She enjoy keeping reasonably fit and spending time with her granddaughter.
